Volunteer with Girl Guides Victoria
Join our team of adult, female volunteers and help provide opportunities for girls and young women to build confidence, resilience, and new skills.
The benefits to volunteering are significant:
- Meet new people
- Expand your skills
- Gain leadership, management, or outdoor qualifications
- Help create positive change in your local area
- Actively support the development of girls and young women
No experience is necessary and training is provided. A Police Check and Working with Children Check are required.
The volunteer registration process involves:
- Satisfactory answers to background questions
- An approved Police Check (or VIT card)
- An approved Working with Children Check (or VIT card)
- Online 30-minute Child Safe Child Friendly course
- Completed member registration details
- Agreement to comply with our Code of Conduct
All of these steps must be completed prior to starting any volunteering role.
